Health Benefits of Eating Salad

Eating salad is good for your health. It lowers cholesterol levels.  A salad containing spinach, red leaf lettuce and romaine helps you see much more better. The vegetables contain Vitamin A, lutein and zeaxanthin. Fruits and vegetables make you energetic.

Salad lower calories and you can lose weight from it. Good fats such as avocados, olive oil and nuts added to a salad enables the body to absorb lycopene (in dark green vegetables, lutein (in tomatoes) and iron(spinach) and other nutrients.

Salads are rich in vitamin C, which maintains healthy bones, gums and skin.  Vitamin A stands for immunity. Vitamin K stands for strong bones, assisting blood to clot and healing wounds. Calcium builds strong bones and teeth.

Vegetables and fruits are known for its nutrition and longevity of human beings.
