German Bundesliga side Fc Schalke 04 have announced the sack of former Black Stars midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng from the team in what seems like an attempt to reverse the recent trend of bad results the team has endured.
Ghana midfielder, Kevin-Prince Boateng is back to fitness after training with Schalke 04 without problems on Monday. The 26-year-old failed to feature in Ghana’s 2-1 win over Zambia in a 2014 World Cup qualifier in Kumasi on Friday as a result of a knee problem.
