Christopher Reynolds, a PR executive, received an e-mail statement that his account balance was $92,233,720,368,547,800.

Speaking to CNN, he said: “It’s a curious thing. I don’t know, maybe someone was having fun.”

Paypal admitted that it was a mistake: “This is obviously an error and we appreciate that Mr. Reynolds understood this was the case,” PayPal said in a statement.
