He is an artiste with an inspirational story that can evoke a lot of emotions. Bahati, who was raised at a Children’s Home in Nairobi’s Mathare slums, had earlier this year declared that this will be his year of giving back to the society.

On his list of priorities this year, Bahati is set for a Homecoming Concert in Mathare dubbed ‘Asante Mathare’ which is scheduled for Sunday, 3^rd May 2015. “This is my first homecoming concert. Ever since I ventured into music, I have never performed for my people, my home, Mathare. I have been waiting for this moment and now am ready to give the best I can,” said Bahati adding that, “Am coming to where I was born, coming to my roots…..my people to say thank you.”
