I was at a conference yesterday and a pastor gave a wonderful preaching which in general, enlightened me. The theme of the 4-day event was The King Is Coming.
Jesus Is the King who is coming soon to take those who are without spot. You’re still alive because of His mercies. When He comes, it will be in a twinkle of an eye. Don’t be that person who will be left behind. It’s better to repent now than to cry than to be left behind on that day. Love your soul and work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Try and be prepared at all times.
Forgive those that have hurt you. It’s better to leave a peaceful than to keep on being bitter. They aren’t even thinking about you. When they see how God has lifted you up, the will regret the times that they hurt you.
Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. (KJV)
The pastor said that Jesus commands us to forgive one another, but never said we should trust one another.
Psalm 118:8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man (KJV)
