The Family & Friends show comes off on Metro TV, every Saturday at 7.30pm.

It is aimed at showcasing the beauty of Ghanaian rites of passage such as traditional and white weddings, and naming ceremonies.

The first segment takes viewers through stakeholders in wedding planning, make up artistry, interior and exterior decor, photographers, suits and wedding gown shops, event venues and many others. Celebrity weddings and famous people are featured as well.

The second segment features events which bring family and friends together: birthdays, graduations, family unions and festivals.

The 30-minute show is hosted by seasoned and former ‘Celebrity TV’ host Kwesi Essel, and fashionista Faiza Mohammed, who also doubles as co-producer of the show. The much-anticipated TV show is also produced by Lionel Agyeman.
