Pop Culture is an event were people showcase their works in the following different categories: art, photography, music, food and fashion.
It took place at the Soul Lounge, The Palms Shopping Mall on August 6 in Oniru, Lagos.

Renowned artist Ojay exhibited his artworks there.

“It was my first art exhibition though. I was so nervous so all I could do was pray that it all ends successfully.”

He has made artworks of celebrities such as Falz, Wizkid, Olamide, DJ Spinall, Oritse Femi and Davido.

I reached out to Ojay to find out how the event went. An influx of people attended the event and some purchased items there.

Singer Skiibi attended the event as well, who was invited by Ojay. According to the artist, he auctioned Skiibi’s artwork of which the artiste himself purchased for about 30,000 naira.

Furthermore, he expressed his gratitude to God and to those who attended the event. “I just want to say a big thank you to God and everybody that were present at the event. I pray that God blesses those who took the time to come and support me.”
