Nollywood Film Festival Germany 2023 took place at the movie theater FilmForum Höchst in Frankfurt, Germany on Friday 28 July, 2023. 2 African movies where shown: Suga Suga (from Nigeria) and Bruna (from Ghana).

People from all walks of life attended the event. Native Germans, people from different African countries, Nigerian polticians and His Excellency Ambassador Wahab A. Akande, the Consul General at the Consulate General of Nigeria in Frankfurt, Germany, attended the beautiful event.

NFFG is an event designed for African film makers to showcase their movies to Europeans and Nollywood fans in the Diaspora. Isaac Izoya, who is the organizer of the event, has been organising it together with the Nollywood Europe Awards (NEGA) for 21 years. The latter takes place the next day after NFFG.

Both movies that were shown at NFFG are funny and contain lessons to learn from. I will be writing reviews about them soon.
