According to Standard Digital, a Kenyan news platform, Gospel artiste Daddy Owen a.k.a. King of Kapungala is celebrating his 10th year anniversary in the music industry with an album launch set for next month.
The X-tended Party on 12th July at Carnivore Grounds is set to celebrate 10 years in the ministry as well as to drop his Vanity album. Singer Wahu Kagwi was among the celebrities who came out with a heartfelt message saying, “Owen is my brother. A very likable, easy going guy, yet highly talented and extremely ambitious. You are a rare breed! Congratulations Daddy Owen on your 10 yr anniversary.”
Sauti Sol’s Mudigi Savara, also sent his congratulations with a touching Instagram post which reads, “Many don’t know I was part of your dance crew before I started recording music. You gave me my first big stage, experience which hugely my writing and audience analysis. Congratulations Daddy Owen..”
